The EPD Philosophy
More Than a Throwing Program
Our Mission
Our mission is to help athletes maximize their potential through individualized coaching, evidence-based training, and a relentless commitment to personal growth. We strive to provide every athlete with a clear path toward improvement by combining intentional development, honest feedback, and a process-driven approach. Through this commitment, we aim to build not only better athletes, but more disciplined, confident, and resilient individuals.
Our Vision
We envision a generation of athletes who approach development with purpose, take ownership of their growth, and pursue excellence both on and off the field.
We believe the lessons learned through sport—discipline, resilience, accountability, and consistency—extend far beyond the game itself and help shape successful people for life.
Why EPD Was Created
EPD Pitching was founded on a simple belief: every athlete deserves a clear path toward improvement. Too many players spend years chasing random advice, jumping from program to program, and hoping results will follow.
We created EPD to provide athletes with a structured process built around evaluation, development, and long-term success. Our goal is not to offer quick fixes or temporary results, but to help athletes build the tools, habits, and mindset required to perform at a higher level.
What We Believe
Evaluation Comes First
Every athlete is different. Effective development begins with understanding the individual before building a plan.
Consistency Beats Intensity
Long-term success is built through small improvements repeated over time, not occasional bursts of effort.
Development Is More Than Velocity
True performance includes strength, movement quality, durability, confidence, decision-making, and the ability to compete when it matters most.
There Are No Shortcuts
Meaningful progress requires patience, discipline, and a willingness to do the work day after day.
Character Matters
The habits that create successful athletes often create successful people. We believe development extends beyond the field and into everyday life.

Where Our Athletes Play
Division I
Division II
Our Process
Individualized programs designed for elite physical and mental preparedness.
01
Evaluate
Assess athletes for strengths and weaknesses across mobility, strength, movement quality, pitching mechanics, pitch arsenal, and pitch characteristics. Elite performance is built on understanding where you are today so you can attack the areas that will create the greatest improvement.
02
Progress
Turn evaluation data into a personalized action plan. Through structured strength training, throwing development, movement work, and mechanical refinement, athletes make measurable progress toward their goals while building a foundation for long-term success.
03
Dominate
The goal isn't just improvement—it's separation. By consistently developing physical tools, refining movement patterns, and improving on-field performance, athletes gain the confidence and ability to compete at a higher level and perform when it matters most.
Meet the Founder
EPD Pitching was founded by a student of the game with a passion for helping athletes reach their full potential. As a competitive pitcher, I have experienced firsthand the challenges, setbacks, and lessons that come with pursuing long-term development. That journey sparked a deep interest in understanding what truly drives performance—not just on the mound, but throughout the entire development process.
Over the years, I have dedicated myself to studying pitching mechanics, strength and conditioning, throwing development, movement quality, and athlete performance. Through both personal experience and continued education, I have learned that meaningful improvement rarely comes from chasing shortcuts. Instead, lasting results are built through consistency, intentional training, and a willingness to trust the process.
EPD Pitching was created to provide athletes with the guidance and structure that many players are missing. My goal is to help athletes eliminate guesswork, focus on what matters most, and follow a clear path toward improvement. Whether the objective is gaining velocity, refining mechanics, improving movement quality, or simply becoming a more complete athlete, every recommendation is made with long-term development in mind.
At the heart of EPD Pitching is a commitment to helping athletes become the best version of themselves. Success is not defined solely by radar gun readings or statistics, but by the habits, discipline, and character developed along the way. My mission is to provide athletes with the tools, knowledge, and support they need to pursue their goals with confidence and purpose.
